In 2010 I designed a wedding gown collection called Something Blue. A few pieces from this collection included contrasting light blue with the white/off white color so that a bride would have that special touch added right into her gown. At that time there were very few options for brides searching for something blue to be incorporated in their gowns.
Fast forward to now in 2017, several designers are catching on to this time treasured trend and creating gowns in soft shades of blue. I found this article on onefabday.com with a gorgeous collection of blue wedding gowns.
