#FeatureFridays- Something Rustic, Something Blue with Altered Rustic Designs

Rustic weddings are all the rage right now, blending burlap and lace, flowers and twine. For the Non-Diy Bride, it's hard to find the perfect rustic wedding decor and items to create a memorable look.
I stumbled upon Altered Rustic Designs' Etsy shop and found myself favoriting item after item. I was pleasantly surprised when I typed in "blue" in the search bar and came up with tons of gorgeous Something Blue pieces: from pretty floral crowns, to bouquet charms, boutonnieres and so much more! There are so many gorgeously rustic items to choose from so you can add either a touch of something blue or make your entire wedding a burlap and blue occasion.

How long have you been in business?
For 3 years. I love crafting and being an entrepreneur. I love creating and designing! There's a sense of excitement when I design~ it's thrilling to me. It definitely doesn't feel like work.
What made you start your business?
I'm an entrepreneur at heart.. I owned 2 restaurants/ bars. After 10 years I thought maybe it's time to slow down and not be responsible for everything. So I went to work for a corporation. Well, after 4 years of that I decided I really do love being the boss and being responsible for my own work.
But more than being an entrepreneur at heart it's my lifelong and ongoing love of being creative that made me start my business with Etsy.
From the beginning (shopping for materials) to the end (shipping) and in between, I love everything about the process.
Every day becomes a new day to create and design and to be HAPPY!

Attach blue charms to the bouquet.
Tie blue ribbons on the flower girl baskets.
Use blue chalk on chalkboards.
Tie blue ribbons on the favors.
Use a blue bow tie for your ring bearer.
