If you're getting married, you probably have visited your share of bridal boutiques and salons. However, it's easy to forget why an entrepreneur might decide to open a bridal shop as opposed to a "regular" clothing store. Today's #FeatureFriday post is about Sara McGuinn of Champagne Taste Bridal who absolutely loves being part of brides' big day with wedding and special occasion dresses and accessories in her shop located in North Beach, MD.

How long have you been in business?
I actually purchased this business in January 2017 from a friend of mine who had it since August 2015. She was looking to pass it over to someone who would carry the same passion since she no longer could own the business. I owned another boutique (www.IBHCB.com) in the area and thought it would be a great addition and would match up with some of our concepts from the boutique I already owned (custom tshirts, tumblers and short white dresses). For a little over 6 months it's been going really well!
What made you start your business?
I enjoy having the opportunity to start a bride's story! Our wall reads: ... and the story begins here. This is because more often than not gown shopping is towards the top of the list. We love having the opportunity to learn about our brides, discuss wedding ideas, etc. Having the "bridal moment" is one of the best experiences.
What are your services and pricing:
We pride our boutique on having high end gowns designer gowns at a savvy price point. Our gowns are new with tags, samples and "once worn" or "pre-loved" as we say and are all priced below retail. We carry a variety of gown styles with pricing from $400 - $3,000 to match a variety of price points.
What is your favorite blue hue:
Navy Blue, Mint or a oasis blue (tealish).
Any advice for unique ideas to include something blue in a wedding?
Having blue jewelry is a newer trend, but the perfect way to incorporate blue!
